Innovative interior design for EUROGRESS Aachen - KRANTZ KOMPONENTEN provides thermal comfort

Aachen:
The international congress centre EUROGRESS was built in Aachen in the mid-70s. It was already provided with air outlets from KRANTZ KOMPONENTEN then.

The EUROGRESS is an ideal venue for manifold events:

• Concerts & musicals
• Exhibitions
• Trade shows
• Conventions
• Stage plays.

The main room named 'Europe' was refurbished within 3 months only. Especially the acoustics, the air distribution system, and the interior decoration have been redesigned.

The walls have been fitted with a structure made from curved modules whose interlacing suggests the scales of a fish. These modules are covered with an elegant metallic fabric that can display a range of colours when lit up.

These 'transparent' modules have made it possible to conceal both acoustic systems and air diffusers in the walls while achieving an elegant interior design.

The new solution for air distribution in the stage area has been developed in cooperation with our R&D department.

For this project KRANTZ KOMPONENTEN supplied:
110 multiplex outlets, type FA-VT
56 swivel jet nozzles, type DW-V2
75 m of displacement outlets, type Q-R (special design).
