World Equestrian Festival in Aachen - New riders' stand fitted with KRANTZ KOMPONENTEN air outlets

The "CHIO Aachen" is the only world equestrian contest where "Prix des Nations" are held in these three events. With more than 1.4 million euros it is also the best-endowed equestrian contest in the world.
To prepare for the World Equestrian Games to be held in Aachen in 2006, the CHIO show grounds had to be improved and enlarged, including among others a new "riders' stand" with a seating capacity of 4,000 people as well as 460 seats around tables in the VIP area. The total spectators' capacity was thus raised from 42,000 to 60,000 people.
The new "riders' stand" includes offices for the CHIO organizers – Aachener Reitturnier GmbH and Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein e.V. -, grandstands for contestants and the press, a press centre as well as a so-called "Champions' Circle" with restaurant, etc.
For this new area KRANTZ KOMPONENTEN have supplied a total of 140 ceiling air outlets of type RA-NR in sizes ranging from DN 160 to DN 315. "Judge tower" (left) and new "riders' stand" (right)
