Chieti is the main town of the Abruzzo region in central Italy; it is located south of Pescara, on the Adriatic coast, which is Abruzzo's main economic centre.
With a total surface area of 63,000 m² distributed over two levels, Megalò is the largest shopping centre in Abruzzo and one of the largest in Italy. It houses 100 shops, 1 supermarket, a large arcade, 8 restaurants, 3 bars, and a 9-screen multiplex. The large building is fitted with an air-conditioning system delivering a total air flow rate of 52,770 l/s (190,000 m³/h).
Different types of Krantz outlets have been installed to meet the specific requirements of the building and to ensure the best level of thermal comfort in quite different environments:
Adjustable radial outlets of type RA-V in shops and restaurants
Variable twist outlets with swirl cylinders of type DD-VZ in the multiplex
Twist nozzles of type DW-V2-DR, in different sizes, in passageways and some restaurants.
