Krantz induction outlet of type IN-V wins Gold Award in Japan

KRANTZ KOMPONENTEN (Aachen/Germany), a business unit of M+W Zander Gebäudetechnik GmbH, and its agent in Japan, HARADA CORPORATION Osaka/Tokyo, received the "Gold Award" of the Japanese Association of Building Engineering and Equipment at a ceremony that took place in Tokyo on 26 May 2006.

The "Gold Award" was given for the Krantz induction outlet of type IN-V. In Japan this linear, high-induction air outlet is installed not only in suspended ceilings, but also in air circulating partitions that separate the workplaces of employees in open-plan offices. This special installation option ensures fresh air supply in the workplace. With such an air distribution system the room cooling load is primarily ensured by floor twist outlets that are also manufactured by KRANTZ KOMPONENTEN. A number of reference projects in Japan have been equipped with this system.

The "Gold Award" was handed over by the Chairman of the Association of Building Engineering and Equipment, Mr. Akira Ishifuku (ex-professor at Waseda University, Tokyo), to Mr. Joji Fujitsuka (Sales Manager at HARADA CORPORATION, Osaka) and Mr. Bernd Nickel (Managing Director of KRANTZ KOMPONENTEN, Aachen). About 200 members of the Association attended the awarding ceremony.
