Ideal indoor air conditions-A/C system renovated with new parapet outlets
The air-conditioning system of the ING Districtskantoor of Arnhem, NL has been renovated recently with the help of PEEK b.v., our Dutch agent based in Tilburg: For years employees of the ING bank had been complaining about air draughts caused by parapet convectors installed along the building facade. Together with their R&D department, engineers of KRANTZ KOMPONENTEN have developed a new parapet outlet which is well suitable to replace existing convectors when renovating an A/C system. These new parapet outlets (120 pieces) now guarantee a stable air distribution within the open-plan offices of the ING bank. One feature of this outlet is its adjustable discharge direction which makes it possible for the user to get a vertical facade jet, or a jet inclined to the room, or even a jet with lateral spread. The employees of the ING bank are extremely pleased about the indoor air conditions having been improved and optimized at their workplace.
