DaimlerChrysler opens a new training center in Stuttgart-Vaihingen
Stuttgart: DaimlerChrysler has recently opened a Global Training Center in Stuttgart-Vaihingen to satisfy the staff's growing need for qualification. Up to 450 employees from about 110 countries can be trained there every day in service, sales and management by 100 certified trainers working for the Global Training unit.
The new building, whose architecture is open and transparent, is called 'Glass Campus'. It has an effective area of 14,000 m² and houses well-equipped spaces for theoretical and practical training. State-of-the-art conference rooms, two TV studios as well as videoconference rooms are also available to back the use of new training and learning methods.
KRANTZ KOMPONENTEN has supplied and installed in the TV studios 400 m² of high-capacity chilled ceilings of type SKS-4/3 having a total cooling capacity of 90 kW. To meet the stringent acoustic requirements, air outlets of type DD-VL-DN 400 (variable twist outlets with guide ring) have been selected to deliver the supply air because of their excellent acoustic properties.
